Schools Soccer Sevens

Welcome to the Scottish Widows and Super Soccer Sevens Primary Schools Edinburgh Events. Over the past two years Scottish Widows Plc has kindly sponsored the primary leagues. In 2006 and 2007 over 150 kids teams took part, making it the largest schools' football event in Scotland.

Sponsorship was provided to help improve the quality of the regular fixtures and to assist in running the festival of football which was held over three weekends in May, at the newly renovated Boroughmuir grounds. Despite the unusually cold and wet weather in May, there was an excellent turnout. Hopefully the tent provided kept a few of the spectators dry. Many thanks for your support.
