About Us ' 'Looking to build character and promote community values through the enjoyment of football'

Super Soccer Sevens was founded by Andy Miller in 2006 and run seven a side football tournaments all year round. We are based in Edinburgh and have a lot going on! Welcome to our site.
We're a little different. Super Soccer Sevens Leagues are competitive and fun (we wouldn't have it any other way) and loaded with extras like free action photos and videos online, 4 trophies within each tournament, different opposition each week and SFA referees and our set up means we cater for teams of all playing abilities. We have a zero tolerance attitude to bad behaviour, believe that us, our referees and anyone playing in our competitions have a right to play without being verbally and physically abused. We have a very clear policy on this, will remove anyone from our tournaments if their behaviour is unacceptable and you they can then look for football elsewhere. At the end of the day it’s very simple – our players want a great time with no hassle, we provide that and we work very hard to protect our reputation and brand to provide exactly that.
As a Company we have a responsibility to our Investors and Share holders to run profitably and we don’t make any apologies for this, we are a business after all. However we've set our stall out early and everyone involved in the company agrees that we should take our Corporate and Social Responsibilities (CSR) seriously and use it as a vehicle for promoting good values and encourage health and fitness and social interaction amongst all classes of society but especially underprivileged regions. Sport is a great way of crossing all barriers. We invest part of our profits, time and energy into CSR and by competing in Super Soccer Sevens, you are directly contributing to help us invest in a number of events that include Escape The Streets Soccer (free football for children from deprived areas), and also the Forth One Cup which we will be running, raising money for Cash for Kids.
Adult Tournaments – Open to all adults over the age of 18. Squads of 10 and teams should sign up for the duration of each evening tournament. Existing Teams are given first option on other tournaments and new teams need to pay a deposit (usually the first weeks payment) and can then pay weekly or by invoice - paying up front can earn a discount. Anyone who is banned by the SFA is not allowed to participate in our tournaments. We use SFA qualified referees, supply everything you would need (bibs balls etc), and provide trophies, medals as well as posting @ 400 action photos and videos of the matches on our site each night which are free to download. One match per night lasting 55 minutes and a Penalty Shoot out at the end for a bonus point. You’ll play a different team each week and the tournament is split into 2 halves, the 1st half being leagues and the 2nd half further leagues but against teams of the same ability as yourselves (depending on where you finished in the 1st half). All results, fixtures and Leagues are online on our site. To see an example please Click Here to go to one of our current competitions and Click Here to see our Photo pages. For more information please contact us or go to our Rules section.
Womens Leagues - With Womens Football being one of the worlds fastest growing sports (well why should guys have all the fun?!) we will be introducing Womens Leagues but also coaching / fitness courses this year so if you are already in a team or have a team come and join the fun or, if you'd like to look at taking it up then come along to our sessions and one of our professional Ladies coaches will coach you. Any standard welcome. For more information Click Here
Children's Football - We have two main areas in this section, both very important.
Forth One Cup - We have teamed up with Bauer Media who own Forth One to run the Forth One Cup. This will be an annual massive one day event held in May and will consist of 32 teams competing for the Forth One Cup and raising as much money as we can for Cash For Kids. With Radio Forth and other high profile sponsors on board (tbc) we plan to make this the 'must attend' event for all children under 16 years old and is open to schools, clubs, youth clubs and basically anyone who has a team. Escape The Streets - As stated above we run adult leagues and on each site we will be trying to run Escape The Streets football where possible. Basically we have to set the site up for each evenings play so we thought why not set it up earlier and get children in to play in the afternoons during the summer holidays, encouraging health and exercise and social interaction? We trialled this two years ago by teaming up with Youth Action Groups and Lothian and Borders Police with great success, having @200 children at each event and fantastic interaction between the Police officers and the kids. The SFA and MacDonalds do fantastic coaching courses in the summer but in deprived areas this just isn't an option for these children because of cost so we see a gap that needs filled. We invest time and money to cover costs which is borne by the adult leagues. We will be developing this for this year. If this interests you, you'd like to help or sponsor then please Click Here.
