The Forth One CupThe Forth One Cup was held on Saturday the 28th May and raised a fantastic £5,500 for the Cash For Kids Charity. Thank you so much to everyone that participated!
Firstly we’d like to thank all the people that made it possible – Headline Sponsors Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, Forth One, Hibernian FC, Hearts FC, East Coast, Vimto, Edinburgh Academy for the use of their pitches, Bank Of New York Mellon (who also helped out on the day – thanks guys!),Green Room Films and Murray Volvo. Also a big thanks to Mark Martin and Dingo Dave from Forth One who presented the prizes. We plan on expanding the tournament next year and we’re also adding an Adult Tournament on the 23rd July so spread the word and hopefully we’ll see you again!
The Forth One Cup was won by Woodmill High School from Dunfermline who defeated George Heriots in the Final. Both teams had to get through penalty shoot outs in their semi’s to get there so the standard was very high. Well done guys!
